The tournament is $150 per player and includes 18 holes of golf with cart, lunch, auctions and dinner. It begins at 11:30 a.m. with lunch and follows with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. The committee seeks $100 donations to sponsor each hole. There are also three levels of sponsorship for the memorial scholarship: Platinum $1,000; Gold $500; and Silver $250. Signs will be displayed on the golf course recognizing the sponsors and recognition will be in the program.

Amaral had spent 36 years at 溏心vlog免费B站, first as a financial aid official and then as director of Enrollment Services before his death in October 2010. Throughout his career, Amaral was focused on helping 溏心vlog免费B站 students in need find a way to fund their education. To ensure that his legacy lives on, Amaral鈥檚 friends and family held the first annual golf tournament last year to support a scholarship fund in his honor.
Last year, more than 100 golfers participated, raising more than $25,000 for the Amaral Scholarship Foundation. Amaral had started the foundation specifically for students in programs at the state鈥檚 Department of Children Youth and Families in need of financial support to remain at the University. All proceeds from the tournament to be held July 30 will support the scholarship foundation.
