äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ has offered the chemistry contest to Rhode Island high school students since 1921. äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ 400 students from 16 high schools in Rhode Island competed this year.
The competition consists of a 45-question, multiple-choice exam, which must be completed in an hour. Prizes are awarded to the top team and top three individuals in each of two divisions. Students with less than one full year of high school chemistry compete in Division 1 while students with more than one year of high school chemistry compete in Division 2.
Division 1 1st place
The team representing East Greenwich High School took top honors in Division 1 during the äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBվ’s annual Chemistry Day. Division 1 competition is for high school students who have less than one full year of high school chemistry.
