Calc-Bowl is a live math competition designed for calculus students. Both college and high school students are encouraged to participate.
Students with advanced college math experience were not allowed to participate. This restriction evens the playing field between the high
school and college level teams. The Calc-Bowl is a fast pace game, that presents the participants with multiple choice pre-calculus and calculus
problems.
Prout High School team, 鈥淛ailbait Genius,鈥� consisting of Isabelle Brogna, Lucia Lee, Jeff Orszulak, Tom Scartabello and Tom Senerchia, took second place.
Another Prout team 鈥淒esignated Derivers,鈥� with Kyle Hollenbeck, Mark Mathieu, Neal Mercier, Joe Sullivan and Morgan Whaley took third place.
