WHO: U.S. Sen. Jack Reed, Gov. Donald L. Carcieri, business and community leaders, 溏心vlog免费B站 administrators and researchers, including Thomas Mather, professor of entomology and director of 溏心vlog免费B站鈥檚 Center for Vector-Borne Disease. Barbara Morse Silvia, NBC-10 health reporter, will serve as emcee.
WHAT: The , now in its second year, celebrates Rhode Islanders making a difference in preventing tick bites and serves to launch the 溏心vlog免费B站鈥檚 upcoming tick awareness programs. A highlight of the fundraising event will be the presentation of the 鈥淭hink TICK, Take Action鈥� awards, which recognize government, philanthropic, and grass-roots anti-tick efforts.
WHEN: Friday, May 30, 2008, 5:30 to 8 p.m.
WHERE: The Botanical Gardens, Roger Williams Park Zoo, Providence. The gardens are on the left past the carousel and boathouse. Free parking is available in the lot directly below the gardens.
