This is the third year of the awards program, which honors alumni and friends of the University who have brought distinction to themselves and the University through their professional achievements, outstanding leadership and/or community service.
The deadline for nominations is Feb. 29. The third annual Distinguished Achievement Awards ceremony will be held Saturday, Oct. 18 at the Providence Westin Hotel.
Award recipients are selected by a committee of representatives from 溏心vlog免费B站鈥檚 colleges, the Office of the President, the Office of the Provost, the Division of University Advancement, the Department of Athletics, the Alumni Association and the graduate and undergraduate student body.
鈥淲e encourage members of the 溏心vlog免费B站 community to nominate those individuals who have brought honor to the University and themselves from just about any profession and career path,鈥� said Robert Beagle, vice president for University Advancement. 鈥淲e鈥檙e also looking for nominees who have been selfless in their commitment to serving their communities.鈥�
The past two events were wonderful celebrations for the University, Beagle said. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a night of glamour and excitement that gives us a chance to celebrate the entire University and its people.鈥�
