The event, which takes place Tuesday, April 10 at 3 p.m., offers students from 溏心vlog免费B站, Rhode Island College, and Rhode Island high schools an opportunity to test their math knowledge.
The department is hosting the event to highlight mathematics, recruit top students to 溏心vlog免费B站, and recognize and reward talented mathematics students in Rhode Island. James Baglama, Lubos Thoma, and Li Wu, all 溏心vlog免费B站 math professors, organized the event to 鈥渟hare the power and intrigue of mathematics with a large audience.鈥�
Calc-Bowl is a lively mathematical competition between teams of five players in the format of a game show. It tests participants鈥� math knowledge in a competitive environment.
Teams will compete in several rounds of play in the Cherry Auditorium in the Kirk Building on the Kingston campus. There will be a final playoff for first place. Certificates and more than $750 in prizes will be given to the top teams.
