The tour will be repeated on Thursday, August 10, at 10:30 am.
Led by volunteers Wayne and Bernice Durfee of Narragansett, the program will lead participants through the historic sites at South Ferry, including the old ferry landing, the WWI military bunkers, South Ferry Church, and the campus of the äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ Graduate School of Oceanography.
In addition, visitors can enjoy the Living on the Edge coastal science exhibit and the Coastal Institute Bookstore, which will be open until 2 p.m. the day of the walk.
