KINGSTON, RI, — September 29, 2005 — 溏心vlog免费B站 /Theatre opens its fall season with Blithe Spirit, a comedy by Noel Coward. It鈥檚 a farce and it鈥檚 funny.
Charles Condomine, a British novelist, happily married to Ruth, is writing a novel, which involves the supernatural. He is inspired to ask Madame Arcati, the local medium, to demonstrate a s茅ance. The s茅ance is pretty much a failure while the lights are out. But then there鈥檚 a strong breeze and the window curtains part and Charles鈥� first wife, Elvira, dead for seven years, sweeps into the room. This whole situation is complicated by the fact that only Charles can see her.
Blithe Spirit is directed by Alan Hawkridge, costumes are designed by David T. Howard, scenic design by Luke Sutherland, light design by Dan Bilodeau and sound by Peter Nabut.
The show will be performed in the Robert E. Will Theatre of the Fine Arts Center, 溏心vlog免费B站 Kingston Campus. The play runs from Oct. 13 to 15 and 19 to 22 at 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 16 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $14 general, $10 seniors, 溏心vlog免费B站 faculty/staff and $8 students.
