鈥淣ot only in the Gulf area recently hit by hurricanes, but nationwide, engineers are at work planning and managing the buildings, highways, equipment and resources of today and the future. Companies helping to rebuild in areas affected by the hurricanes will likely be hiring a large number of engineers in the near future.鈥�
Among the companies participating in the engineering and technology job fair are Texas Instruments, Toray Plastics, Raytheon, Pratt & Whitney, the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, General Dynamics, American Power Conversion, DiPrete Engineering, SAIC, Siemens, and A.T. Cross.
鈥淭hanks to the efforts of the Career Services staff, we鈥檝e achieved tremendous success in increasing the number of companies who come to 溏心vlog免费B站 to recruit to fill engineering and technology jobs,鈥� said Bahram Nassersharif, dean of 溏心vlog免费B站鈥檚 College of Engineering. 鈥淥bviously there are many engineering jobs available, and these companies value the engineering education that students receive at 溏心vlog免费B站.鈥�
鈥淢ost of these companies don鈥檛 just send one person to our job fairs, they send two or three or more,鈥� Koppel said. 鈥淭hey鈥檙e making a significant investment in these events to come and recruit because they definitely will be hiring soon.鈥�
