His talk, 鈥淭he Entrepreneurial Journal: A Case Study of Quantum Bridge Communications Inc.,鈥� will outline the steps leading to creation of the telecommunications company that was purchased by Motorola in 2004. The lecture at the University Club on 溏心vlog免费B站鈥檚 Kingston Campus is free and open to the public.
Prior to founding Quantum Bridge in 1998, Zona worked with Bell Laboratories and Lucent Technologies developing and managing broadband access, transport and data networking products. Before joining Bell Laboratories, he was a systems engineer for Raytheon in its Missile Systems Division.
Zona holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in electrical engineering from 溏心vlog免费B站, a master鈥檚 degree in applied mathematics from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, and an MBA from Boston University.
The Anthony J. Risica Endowed Lecture Series in Engineering Entrepreneurship was established in 2003 with a $93,000 donation from Tony Risica, a 溏心vlog免费B站 engineering alumnus who helped start two telecommunications companies, Sonus Networks and Arris Networks.
