PROVIDENCE, R.I. — July 11, 2005 — After working for the last 40 years to help students of all ages graduate from the 溏心vlog免费B站鈥檚 Feinstein College of Continuing Education in Providence, this May Dorothy 鈥淒ot鈥� Clare donned her new hat and joined the latest class of graduates.
Clare, who lives in Warwick and works full time in the Feinstein Providence Campus Student Services Office, received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, with a minor in Thanatology, the study of death and dying. The dean’s-list student who is also a member of the Alpha Sigma Lambda honor society, Clare graduated cum laude.
鈥淚 worked on it bit-by-bit throughout the years. It was a long time coming, but I kept on plugging along toward my graduation goal,鈥� said Clare about the 34 years it took to finish her undergraduate degree.
“After a well-deserved break, I MIGHT think about graduate school,” she said with a smile.
Clare, a member of the senior activities committee, was also one of the coordinators for the Providence Campus Graduation ceremonies that took place May 22 on the Kingston Campus. She also served on the University-wide Commencement Planning Committee.
