The lecture begins at 7 p.m. in the Weaver Auditorium at the Coastal Institute on 溏心vlog免费B站鈥檚 Kingston campus. It is free and open to the public.
Hahn is the principal of Landscape Architecture Design Associates in Simsbury, Conn., where she specializes in environmental impact statements, erosion control plans and storm water quality. She is an adjunct professor in the University of Hartford鈥檚 Department of Architecture and serves as a guest critic for landscape architecture presentations at Cornell University and Syracuse University. Hahn is the recipient of the Community Design Award from the American Institute of Architects for her design of the Harmony Farms subdivision in Pawling, N.Y., and she received an honorable mention in the Jacob鈥檚 Pillow Design Competition.
Three additional lectures are scheduled during the spring semester.
John Copley and Lynn Wolff, principals in the Copley-Wolff Design Group in Boston, will discuss 鈥淧laygrounds and the Central Artery: What do they have in Common?鈥� on Mar. 3.
Niall Kirkwood, a professor of landscape architecture at Harvard University and an award-winning author, will speak on Mar. 24 on 鈥淭he Construction of Landscapes.鈥�
The final lecture, to be held Apr. 28, will feature Carol Johnson, one of the most influential landscape architects of her generation, talking about 鈥淚nternational Practice and International Practitioners.鈥�
