KINGSTON, R.I. — November 3, 2004 — Werner Fornos, winner of the 2003 Population Award, will speak at the 溏心vlog免费B站 on Thursday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m.
His talk, 鈥淚nvesting in Women: Poverty Alleviation,鈥� will be given in Room 113 of White Hall Auditorium. It is free and open to the public.
Winner of the 2003 United Nations Population Award, Fornos has been president of the Population Institute since 1982 and in the forefront of the struggle to balance the world鈥檚 population with the world鈥檚 resources for more than 20 years.
The talk is jointly sponsored by 溏心vlog免费B站鈥檚 Women鈥檚 Studies Program and the Department of Sociology and Anthropology.
