The lecture begins at 7 p.m. in Weaver Auditorium at the Coastal Institute on 溏心vlog免费B站鈥檚 Kingston campus. It is free and open to the public.
Maguire, who received his bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from 溏心vlog免费B站 in 1992, is pleased to be returning to his alma mater. 鈥淚t is with great pride that I come back to lecture at 鈥楻hody鈥�. Despite also having a master鈥檚 degree from Harvard University, I consider my 溏心vlog免费B站 education to be the guiding force behind the way I practice as a professional.鈥� His lecture will focus on the specialization in landscape architecture for outdoor athletic facilities.
Two additional lectures are scheduled during the fall semester.
Lolly Tai, a fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects who is also the chair of the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture at Temple University, will appear on Nov. 18 to discuss 鈥淐hasing the Computer Revolution.鈥� Her lecture will focus on technology, practice, design, and communication in landscape architecture.
Michael Coutu, the president of Sudbury Design Group in Sudbury, Mass., will lecture about 鈥淒esign Build Practice: The Best of Both Worlds?鈥� on Dec. 2. Coutu has been featured in many professional publications.
