Narragansett, R.I. — September 17, 2004 — If you鈥檝e ever wondered what the oceanographers do at the 溏心vlog免费B站 Graduate School of Oceanography鈥檚 Narragansett Bay Campus, Friends of Oceanography is offering two opportunities for the public to find out.
Tours of the 溏心vlog免费B站 Narragansett Bay Campus will take place on Tuesday, September 28, and Wednesday, October 20, at 4 p.m. The tours will last approximately 60-75 minutes.
The tour will begin at the Coastal Institute Visitor Center and take visitors into various labs and facilities, including the Marine Geological Samples Laboratory, one of the largest repositories of marine rocks and sediments in the country, the Marine Ecosystems Research Laboratory, the Lagoon Mesocosm Facility, and the facilities of the Ocean Engineering Department.
The tours are free, but because spaces are limited, preregistration is required. To reserve a space for either date, call 874-6642.
