The lecture begins at 7 p.m. and will be held in the Weaver Auditorium at the Coastal Institute on 溏心vlog免费B站鈥檚 Kingston campus. It is free and open to the public.
Urban is a landscape architect whose main focus has been on design innovations that allow trees to thrive in cities. He is responsible for the introduction of many of the current standards relating to urban tree plantings.
He has been involved in a variety of landscape projects in Washington, D.C., including the National Geographic headquarters, the Watergate South, the National Sculpture Garden master plan, and the restorations of the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials.
Currently, Urban is the principal for Urban and Associates in Annapolis, Md. He is the former president of the Maryland chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects, and has been honored with both the Professional Urban Forester Award and a1988 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
