KINGSTON, R.I. — June 6, 2003 — Ron Petro, athletic director at the 溏心vlog免费B站, has been given a one-year contract extension, effective July 1, 2003 to June 30, 2004.
In announcing the extension, 溏心vlog免费B站 President Robert L. Carothers said, “Ron has been athletic director during an enormously challenging time at 溏心vlog免费B站 and helped to bring the Division I program to a new level for our students, alumni and the people of Rhode Island.”

In addition to his regular duties, Petro will be working with the University on its athletic capital campaign, issues dealing with Division I conference realignments and related matters during the next year.
Petro was actively involved in the planning process for The Ryan Center and The Boss Arena, and has been helping to guide both facilities through their opening years.
