äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ experts available to address community groups

KINGSTON, R.I. — January 22, 2003 — More than 170 experts from among the äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBվ’s faculty, staff and administration are available to speak to community groups about a wide variety of subjects through the äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ Speakers Bureau.

Speakers are available at no charge to address day or evening meetings on such subjects as forensic science, biotechnology, aquaculture, herbal health remedies, Muslims and Islam, historic armories, business and economic issues, environmental topics, and dozens of others. Presentations can be tailored to meet the needs of the organization and usually are a combination of lecture, discussion and questions and answers.

Over the last 12 months, äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ speakers made more than 140 presentations to 60 different community groups in Rhode Island, from church groups and retiree organizations to civic clubs and business and professional associations.
