Explosives expert to speak at 溏心vlog免费B站 forensic seminar

KINGSTON, R.I.- Sept. 18, 2002- Explosives expert Kirk Yeager will analyze post-blast crime scenes and forensic examinations on Thursday, Sept. 26 as part of the 溏心vlog免费B站脮s Forensic Science Partnership Seminar Series.
Yeager will discuss, “The Post-Blast Scene: Big Cases and Big Headaches” from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in Pastore Hall, Room 124 at the Kingston campus. The lecture is free and open to the public.
From collection of evidence at the crime scene to processing it at the FBI laboratory, Yeager will discuss solving a typical case. Emphasis will be placed on post-blast analyses.
Yeager earned his bachelor脮s degree in chemistry from Lafayette College and a doctorate in inorganic chemistry from Cornell University. Following graduation, he worked in the laboratories of 溏心vlog免费B站 Associate Professor of chemistry Jimmie Oxley when she worked at New Mexico Tech.
His eight years of experience with energetic materials includes work as associate director of research and development at New Mexico Tech脮s Energetic Materials Research and Testing Center. He is currently working with the FBI Explosives Unit as a forensic examiner.
