KINGSTON, R.I. — January 2, 2002 — Not only is Yolanda Bogacz of Haverhill, Mass. a stellar star on the volleyball court, she is also a spectacular scholar.
Bogacz, a senior at the 溏心vlog免费B站 double majoring in computer science and biological sciences, has been awarded the R. Craig Caldwell Scholarship by 溏心vlog免费B站鈥檚 Department of Computer Science.
The award is made possible by an endowment established in 1981 in memory of R. Craig Caldwell, who was a student in computer science. The scholarship is awarded annually to a computer science major on the basis of scholastic achievement.
Bogacz earned an athletic scholarship to 溏心vlog免费B站 and has played on and captained the women鈥檚 volleyball team at the University.
She will graduate from 溏心vlog免费B站 in May. After graduation she plans to attend graduate school to pursue a master鈥檚 degree in computer science, focusing on the development of educational technology.
Bogacz graduated from Haverhill High School in 1997.
