Women’s History Month art exhibit

äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBվ’s Alan Shawn Feinstein College of Continuing Education to celebrate Women’s History Month with art exhibit PROVIDENCE, R.I. — February 13, 2001 — The äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBվ’s Alan Shawn Feinstein College of Continuing Education will celebrate Women’s History Month by hosting its second annual women’s exhibit. The exhibit, “äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ Women Creating,” will run March 5 to 31 on the college’s first and second floor galleries at 80 Washington Street. äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ faculty, staff and student art will share space with the work of guest artist, Lillian Engle, Rhode Island trained former Cranston resident now a New York-based artist. The exhibit features more than 20 artists work in a variety of two and three-dimensional media including textiles, watercolor, oil, chalk, photography, computer imagery, woodcut, sculpture, and mixed media. The opening reception is March 8 at 5:30 p.m. Gallery hours: Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information call 277-5000.
