KINGSTON, R.I. — January 9, 2001 — The 溏心vlog免费B站 will commemorate the birthday of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a series of events Jan. 22 through 26. All events are in the Hardge Forum of the Multicultural Center on 溏心vlog免费B站’s Kingston Campus and are free and open to the public.

Monday, Jan. 22
Noon 鈥� Film: “Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.”
7 p.m. 鈥� Film: “A Force More Powerful”
Tuesday, Jan. 23
Noon 鈥� Unity Lunch, sponsored by the 溏心vlog免费B站 Chaplains. Features a presentation by Dr. Bernard Lafayette, director of the 溏心vlog免费B站 Center for Nonviolence and Peace Studies, and awards ceremony for 溏心vlog免费B站’s Martin Luther King Jr. essay contest. Wednesday, Jan. 24
7 p.m. 鈥� Sing-a-long, with songs of the civil rights, human rights, and labor movements. Features 溏心vlog免费B站 faculty musicians Stephen Wood, Stephen Myles, and Paul DeMesquita.
Thursday, Jan. 25
2 p.m. 鈥� Workshop “On Strategies of Nonviolence for Daily Interaction,” led by Charles Collyer, 溏心vlog免费B站 professor of psychology.
Friday, January 26
Noon 鈥� Peace and Harmony Meditation
