äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ experts available to address community groups

KINGSTON, R.I. — August 18, 2000 — More than 170 experts from among the äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾’s faculty, staff and administration are available to speak to community groups about a wide variety of subjects through the äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ Speakers Bureau. Speakers are available at no charge to address day or evening meetings on such subjects as business issues, oceanography, healthy living, gardening, wildlife and the environment, history, forensic science, and dozens of others. Presentations can be tailored to meet the needs of the organization and usually are a combination of lecture, discussion and Q&A. Recently äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ speakers have addressed the East Providence Rotary Club on oil spills, the Cranston Rotary Club about the State Crime Lab, and the Bristol Rotary Club on biotechnology.
