‘Birds, Bees, and Apple Trees’
äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ plans environmental program for children during April vacation
KINGSTON, R.I. — March 1, 2000 — What do birds, bees, and apple trees have in common? The answer is the äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾.
äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ is offering an environmental education program by that name for children, ages 7 to 12, during the April school vacation.
“Birds, Bees, and Apple Trees” is a chance for kids to get hands-on exploration of the natural world in the gardens and greenhouses on äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾’s Kingstown campus.
Children can sign up for one, two or three mornings. Pre-registration required.
The program will run April 19, 20, 21 from 10 a.m. to noon. The fee is $6 per morning or $15 for three days
